Printed Circuit Board Design

They say you can judge a printed circuit board by how easy it looks like it was to do. The easier it looks, the better job the layout designer did. Here's an example: Board 1 and Board 2 were designed from the same net list.

Board 1 (left) was done by automation under the control of an experienced board designer who had no understanding of the circuit function and signal flow. This is a six-layer board.

We designed Board 2 (right). We used only our experience and a complete understanding of the circuit function. Board 2 is four layers. Both pictures are of the area around the i960 CPU where two 32-bit buses meet.

We use ©PADS-PowerPCB to design our boards and can work with nearly any net list source.

We provide all Gerber documentation and files necessary to manufacture the final board.
